SHALLOW LEADERSHIP

The reality appears

To drench me a bit

Into the world and vehemence

Of unworthy leaders

I doubt, I doubt much

With every reign they make

But I still stand tall

In that dark, deep void

They rule like those unjust kings

Who, years ago, kept rolling their heads

With liquor and women

Drowsing on their lips

Not much has changed, not much well!

In this age of anomalous newness

We live like ‘em fools

Who are torn off their truths

By some unqualified couches

What shall a distasteful truth again be

Than being led by the rotten?

DON’T BOTTLE UP

When digits and scores rule your brains

And taunts dance in the circus of speech

When depression controls your every nerve

When every mouth is grouped to teach

When silence is not silence anymore

And everything happens in the large of its size

When no world seems yours to you

And no man to you really says, ‘’Rise’’

When their words eat and sleep in your head

And you can’t help but let them grow

When your skull’s been made a shallow li’l bin

And all your dreams get crumbled and thrown

Then there comes the stage in your struggle

When you’ll ultimately lose your soul in the sky

Your eyes will cry over the heart turned half

And you won’t find someone who says,

‘’go, give it a try’’

Don’t hold onto the privy broken by

The ghosts of men running to and fro

Whose lives are crammed with tedious tales

But do not know how to live big though

You have it in you, you have it all

Unequalled by anything that turns you down

You have a heart so blissfully embellished

And quite a head that deserves a crown

A LETTER

Did you ever, ever write letters?

How tender a love, how foldable to be carried along,

the love, good and quiet, stretches improbably.

The heart falls with all it's weight, scattered in ink, sending heartbeats and all that there is.

Here’s a letter story of a li’l girl:

She dips her hand in ink

for minutes and minutes or more

she writes and oh her cheeks!

twinned with the pink she wore.

How essentially still, as if painted

well unbothered seemed her eyes

No noise could stop her pace, I know

by how her hand just flies.

Crossing her tiny feet to ponder

over the words that roam

atop her paper, she read soft

and felt her heart's at home.

Unruffled, she sat at the window

enveloping her heart to heave

she hurried to the red mailbox

"It'd be read", she longed to believe.

"Your dad's in the sky" her mother'd say

slyly sliding out her letter to keep as such,

with the hundreds of 'em, she couldn't hold

how her little hands could write so much.

YOU AND I

I LOVED YOU

A SINKING SOUL

‘em blocked veins, that ripped heart

All a mess, you and I

This dire love, it ain’t love

It’s a sea we’re drowning by

Boiled over and fried out

We ate us up eye to eye

Roast you deep, skin to skin

Bleed me down till I cry

This holy love is striving much

We can’t mend, we can’t try

You smoked me, I flamed you

We walked too far just to die

I loved you

Not wisely but well

For long, too long

I loved being there

In absolute affection

Of feeling and falling

Into unconsciousness

I loved so much

And collapsed just there

Into certain hovering heaven

I believed you and fluttered along

For a little while

I stayed in the ambiguity

And called it love

I am lying on the shore, drunk

So feral, so uncontrolled,

Frozen, suspended

And curled up in head trips

The body gives in,

Past the tremor

The mind moves on

But the heart,

It lingers, it grows stuck.

It just remains,

Inserted, pierced,

And possibly unattended.

A REVISIT

FOREVER

ON REPEAT

I’m bringing back

the times we spent at the shore,

that handful of love

I’m going again, so to know

if after all, it still feels the same,

to be moving mild and loving mild

against those waters, waving back and forth,

Would you get on this ramble and stumble along, to know if we fall the same, for each other, over again, after all this time!

And,

let me travel back and forth

the unfiltered faces of you.

Let me inhale the sunsets of your soul

and live a little more, unaware

of how soon you’ll be moved out of me,

off my skin, but the heart

that held you since forever

will but hold you still.

Then you re-create all

of what there was

the soft smiles,

the mild pain

What if it blinds me?

Again of the same kind

and turn my heart on sale!

I’ll tell you then

if you stay a scar on my neck

or a peck of love.

SELF LEARNING

I have learned a lot about myself. I spent the crucial years of my life muddling in self-doubt, all soaked up and drenched to the core. It took me ages to get back on my feet and walk like I don't have a care in the world. My talents are my own to cherish, and I don't go about seeking validation from just everyone waiting to hop on them with opinions. But I am always open to constructive criticism.

Delving deeper into my unfazed self, I believe self-reliance has refined me in and out. I began expending my energy on bettering myself up and creating a healthier version of my mind for it to stay in sync with the brilliance I carry in my words. My belief earns me contentment in anything I put my hands on. Adding on, it renders me the liberty to get to grips with the people around me. I have learned to cherish the essence of trusting myself and not letting my diffidence hover around my self-pride. Try revealing yourself to new inventions and practice self-admiration often.

CELEBRATING

WOMEN

There could never be a single day to describe the courage, determination, and unparalleled zeal of a woman to build a home, a family, and even the entire nation if the need be. I had been acquainted with several such women throughout my life and imbibed from them some real powerful aura and strength to acquire certain academic and emotional heights. It is the story of a woman who not only inspired me but put forth innumerable sacrifices to get me to the place I am in right now.

She is my mother. when I look back on the struggles that she overcame, I realize how impeccably well she molded me into the person I have become and the amount of patience needed to raise me despite the societal pressure she might have gone through in the process. She had been with me standing strong and mentoring me on my way to new experiences in life. and so if I want to write her in lengthy paragraphs of remarkable terms in a secure space with a full-inked pen, it would still be, if you trust me, an incomplete drop of water filling up an ocean in itself full. An influential woman is a legacy to carry forward and an epitome of bliss and radiance illuminating around alive.

ACADEMIC SAMPLES

BLUBOHO

In this project, I researched the jewelry market, identifying trends and analyzing bluboho's competitors. I defined the target audience by looking at demographics like age, gender, income, and location and delved into their lifestyle, values, and interests to find their pain points and triggers.

Using this data, I developed tailored marketing strategies and created engaging content for digital platforms, ensuring it was SEO-friendly. I presented my findings clearly, communicated effectively with the team, and wrote detailed reports.

Throughout, I used tools like Google Analytics and Keyword Planner, applied strategic thinking, and managed my time efficiently to keep the project on track.

Brand Overview Link

I developed a content journey map and a detailed brand persona for bluboho. The journey map tracks customer stages from awareness to loyalty, highlighting key triggers like the desire for eco-friendly fashion and sharing purchases on social media.

The brand persona, Natalie Johnson, values sustainability and individuality. Her challenges include finding sustainable accessories and navigating the competitive fashion industry.

It taught me how to map customer journeys, create detailed personas, analyze the market and audience, strategize content, and communicate effectively. Overall, it enhanced my ability to craft targeted marketing strategies and deeply understand the customer experience.

Persona & Journey Map Link

In this project, I wrote a blog post for bluboho, focusing on the deeper meaning of jewelry for enthusiasts. This involved interviewing people who view jewelry as more than just adornment. I added meta descriptions, title tags, and alt texts to enhance the blog's SEO. Additionally, I created a social media post for the brand. Through this, I gained skills in content creation, SEO optimization, interviewing techniques, and social media marketing. This experience helped me understand how to craft meaningful stories that resonate with an audience and promote brand engagement.

Written Content Link

In this project, I did a deep dive into bluboho's social media presence, auditing all their platforms and conducting a SWOT analysis for each one. I also thoroughly examined their website, pinpointing areas that needed improvement and suggesting ways to optimize it. This involved a lot of detailed research.

Through this process, I gained valuable skills in social media analysis, website auditing, and research. It helped me understand how to identify strengths and weaknesses in a brand's digital presence and provided me with practical insights into improving website performance and user experience.

The SEO project for Klue focused on optimizing key keywords, improving meta descriptions, and ensuring all images had alt attributes.

Key tasks included enhancing website security with SSL/HTTPS, optimizing internal and external links, and improving page speed and response time. Tools like Aioseo, MOZ, and Google Pagespeed Insights were used for analysis. Key improvements included reducing HTML size and page requests and making the site more mobile-friendly.

From this project, I gained practical SEO skills, effective use of various tools, and a deeper understanding of optimizing websites for better search engine rankings and user experience.

The project for AlignRite required us to create two specific ad groups, each with its own theme.

The first ad group, "Quality Aligners in Budget," focused on attracting customers looking for affordable and flexible payment plans for teeth aligners. The second ad group highlighted the benefits of post-treatment retainers, aimed at customers seeking long-lasting results.

I conducted thorough keyword research to identify the best keywords, along with their search volumes, competition, and estimated costs per click. This project helped me understand how to effectively structure ad groups and perform in-depth keyword research. I also learned how to manage a PPC campaign to attract high-quality leads and optimize ad performance.

For the Mejuri project, I conducted a comprehensive social media audit to analyze the brand's online presence. The project required thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape, audience demographics, and engagement metrics. I assessed Mejuri's performance across various social media platforms, identified areas for improvement, and provided strategic recommendations. This project enhanced my skills in market research, data analysis, and developing actionable insights to optimize social media strategies.
